DD2Calc beta

Dragon's Dogma 2 damage calculator, bestiary and modifier reference, built from in-game measurements. Covers Fighter, Warrior and Mystic Spearhand. Values marked measured were reproduced in game; everything else is game data only.

Calculator

  1. Type your Strength from the status screen (the total, and the base in brackets).
  2. Pick the monster, its state and the body part you hit.
  3. Pick the move and your buffs.

The damage line matches the game's number on the same hit.

Import my build

Fill the calculator from the game with the DD2Calc Builds mod. It saves your Strength, Magick, weapon, shield and armor skills, rings, augments, body size and the buffs active at that moment.

  1. Install REFramework (DD2.zip), then download DD2Calc Builds and unzip it into your Dragon's Dogma 2 folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Dragons Dogma 2).
  2. In the game, press Insert to open the REFramework menu, then Script Generated UI > DD2Calc Builds.
  3. Equip the build, eat and buff up, type a name and press Save current build. Save as many builds as you like; each keeps its date.
  4. Here, choose the file Dragons Dogma 2\reframework\data\DD2Calc_Builds.json and pick a build.

Status screen

Read both from the Status screen with your weapon equipped: Strength “Total (Base)”. The total already includes Verve and Ring of Aggression; pick those below and the calculator takes them back out. Base Strength changes with level, vocation, obelisk perks and more, so always type yours.

Weapon

Pick only the weapon skills that change damage (a weapon carries 3 of them at most). Vocation skill upgrades are picked with the move, in the move list.

Shield

Armor

Only armor skills that change the damage of a hit are listed. Wicked Knight and Moribund Frenzy roll on body armor only, and a piece carries one bonus skill at most, so only one of them can be the bonus version.

Rings
Augments

Only the augments that change the damage of a hit are listed (5).

Consumables, rest & springs

One meal, one drink or extract, one enchant at a time. Pay the courtesan before bathing: a service advances time and ends the spring.
